Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the film went on to collect a total of ₹237.28 crore globally.

Out of this, Raid 2’s total earnings from India alone — including both domestic theatrical and other collections — stood at ₹206.28 crore, marking it as one of the year’s top-performing films.

Like the first film, the sequel is also centered around a high-stakes income tax raid — but this time, things are different.

Promising an even more intense and thrilling ride than the original, Raid 2 sees Patnaik take on a powerful political figure named Dada Bhai, portrayed by Riteish Deshmukh, setting the stage for a dramatic showdown.
