if your name appears in the list, you will need to visit your allotted college between June 27 and July 3 to verify your documents and pay the admission fees.
FYJC 2025 in Maharashtra: First seat allotment list has been postponed to June 30 😊
If you get your first-choice college, all you need to do is go there and complete the admission steps within the given deadline to secure your seat. But if you’re not happy with your allotted spot, you can skip confirming it now and wait for the next round instead. And if you don’t get any seat at all, just hang tight—you’ll automatically be included in the next seat-allotment round according to the schedule.
Across Maharashtra’s FYJC admission process, there are roughly 2 million seats up for grabs: about 852,000 in Science, 540,000 in Commerce, and 650,000 in Arts. To make signing up easier, the official portal was briefly taken offline so it could be upgraded for mobile use—now you can apply smoothly right from your phone.
On top of that, the government has set up a dedicated CAP helpline number and email address, so you can get help with any questions about the Centralized Admission Process.
According to the new guidelines from the State Education Directorate, each junior college’s in-house quota is reserved only for students who come from schools run by the same management and are on the same campus.
Finally, the admission drive covers eight divisions—Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur, and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Just a heads-up: the Konkan division is not part of the CAP this year.
